Join us for this one day training that will teach participants about becoming a Duct and Envelope Tightness (DET) verifier.

Participants will learn:

Protocols for blower door and duct blaster testing
Calculations for ACH50 and percent duct leakage
Tips for successfully completing the written and in-field DET Verifier certification exams
- To achieve designation as a DET Verifier, a student must receive a passing score on both exams
Training includes
DET training workbook
Written DET Verifier exam
In-field DET Verifier exam

Rick Stepp and Abe Kruger will facilitate this session. Rick and Abe are Atlanta based green building consultants with nearly 20 years combined experience. They are DET Verifiers and instructors.

The Housing Institute has approved this seminar for three (3) continuing education credits. This session is approved under the Rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education hours.

CREDIT NOTE: Any session approved for Georgia Real Estate Credit or Georgia State Licensing Credit requires all participant to attend the full session to receive credit. The participant is required to sign-in and sign-out. If the participant misses to sign-in and/or sign-out they will not be permitted to receive credit for the session. Sorry no exceptions.
