This course is designed for homebuilders and project managers. The course will review the changes to the International Building Codes in relation to spray foam and termite damages and how it affects termite warranties. The course will go in depth with regards to spray foam application and the draw backs relative to insects and other pests. The course will review the types of spray foam and its fire retardancy as well as the global impacts.

Class instructor Kelly Combs, has been a member of the Realtor Team with Northwest Exterminating since January 2006. Prior to coming on board with Northwest, she was employed with a local, new residential, electrical contractor. She also has several years of experience in St. Louis working for a company that directed the association (local, state, and national chapters) for plumbing contractors. As a Realtor Relations Specialist, Kelly enjoys helping those working in the home market field. She is registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Structural Pest Control Commission for Household Pest Control and Wood-destroying Organisms. Kelly is an instructor for the Continuing Education Classes on termite and pest control that Northwest offers, which are approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. She is also an active member of the Women’s Council of Realtors and several Board of Realtors in Georgia.

This session qualifies under the rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education credit hours.

CREDIT NOTE: Any session which qualifies for credit hours under the rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors or Georgia Real Estate credit requires the participant to attend the FULL session in order to receive credit. The participant is required to sign in and sign out. Failure to sign in and sign out will result in zero credit hours.
