The presentation addresses specific cyber threats facing construction firms, including data breaches and ransomware, emphasizing their potential impact. Tailored cybersecurity strategies for construction will be discussed, focusing on integrating cybersecurity into project management processes and leveraging technologies like Building Information Modeling (BIM) and IoT securely. Key cybersecurity technologies, best practices, and legal considerations will be highlighted, along with insights into future trends and challenges. The presentation will conclude with a call for collaborative efforts in enhancing cybersecurity within the construction sector, offering practical guidance and a Q&A session to address participant queries and concerns.

This session qualifies under the rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education credit hours.
