Beginning January 1, 2020, the state of Georgia will be updating building code requirements to the following:
IECC - 2015
IRC, IBC - 2018
IFC, IFGC, IPC, ISPSC, IMC – 2018

This class will review the 2018 code changes concerning plumbing, mechanical and gas systems.

Instructor Ron Anderson is president of the Georgia Plumbers’ Trade Association Inc. Mr. Anderson has 44 years’ experience in the construction industry and 21 years’ experience in code training. Some of Mr. Anderson’s credentials include:

Numerous certifications from the International Code Council (ICC)
Serves as Chairman of the ICC Governing Committee for Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Codes
Serves on ICC Code and Standards Committee as an advisor to the ICC Board of Directors
Served on numerous code committees with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs
Served as Manager of the Building Codes Training Program for the University of Georgia, Clayton State University and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs

This session qualifies under the Rules of the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors for three (3) continuing education credit hours. The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association has approved this seminar for three (3) CPHB continuing education credit hours.

CREDIT NOTE: Any session approved for Georgia State Licensing credit or Georgia Real Estate credit requires the participant to attend the FULL session in order to receive credit.
